The Personal Tracker is a unique solution that transforms a smartphone into a satellite tracking and messaging device. It uses Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites to obtain information on current position and the Iridium low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite architecture for the two-way messaging system and tracking reports.
The Personal Tracker allows a tracking application, running on a remote computer, to display and track the operator's current position and to communicate with the operator through text messages sent using this iOS application
